Three Mexican nationals were indicted on Wednesday in Washington for conspiring to bring women, and at least one minor, into the U.S. for commercial sex.
If convicted, they face a collective fine of over $1 million and a minimum of 10 years in prison.

It's hard to believe that goes on in our own back yards. I guess we only see what we expect to see...and we do expect to see prostitution. We know it is an ugly side of the human condition. We are blase about it because it is the "world's oldest profession" - or so we are told. Perhaps it should be called the world's oldest form of exploitation.
